(ABOL) (PINKSHEETS: ANYT) announced today that its logistics division, myFreightWorld, is posting record revenues for the second quarter of 2009 confirming current economic conditions are favorable for the company’s products.

The company stated, “Sales for the last four weeks have been at levels that would place them in the top 10 weeks of the company’s history. Under these economic conditions and due to the fact that the second quarter is typically a slow quarter for the transportation industry, this achievement is noteworthy. We believe it serves as evidence that our model, which allows transportation logistics managers to cut costs and expand product lines, will thrive in a down market.” At the end of 2008, the revenue under management was approximately $40 million.

President Mike Head commented, “Economic conditions began to cause our customers shipment counts to decrease dramatically during the latter half of 2008 and continued on into the first quarter of 2009. While our growth of new business mitigated this slow down through the third quarter of 2008, we experienced the first two down quarters in the company’s history. Our carrier vendors were reporting 30% to 40% drops in revenue, the worst drop in the last several decades, and our customers’ sales were consistent with those reports. We responded quickly by downsizing our workforce and that along with our variable cost model allowed us to manage through this downturn profitably.”

Head further stated, “Sales levels have now returned to pre-downturn levels and our growth rate has accelerated. This is important to our shareholders in three critical ways:

1.) We are now back on target to reach $100 million annual managed revenue run rate by the end of 2009. Current major infrastructure costs are sufficient to handle this growth and beyond, thereby producing attractive EBITDA and cash flow that will further boost our ability to bring on additional growth through acquisition.

2.) To achieve this level of sales the company has signed more than 20 major new customers including 3 that are in the Top 50 largest Logistics Companies in terms of sales. This provides evidence of our ability to grow despite the economic downturn.

3.) The company has demonstrated its resiliency to economic stress and in the event that current economic conditions worsen this provides evidence that management has employable strategies in place to deal with them. “
